What is the job about?

Within a full-time position, the Embedded SW Engineer will be a specialist in the development of embedded software applications for the aerospace industry. The position will be placed in Madrid.

What will you do?

  • As part of a team of engineers, work on R&D projects within the aeronautical sector related to software technologies.
  • Design and develop state-of-the-art applications for electronic equipment.
  • Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identify, log, and debug assigned issues.
  • Participate as a member of a team composed by software, hardware and systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for Clue products.

What profile are we looking for?

Mandatory:

  • Software Engineering or Computer Science Degree.
  • At least three years of experience participating in projects of design and development of safety critical embedded systems.
  • Strong skills in programming structures, algorithms, and multithreading concepts.
  • Specific knowledge in programming languages (C, C++).
  • Specific knowledge in databases.
  • Experience in RTOS (Linux, VxWorks, PikeOS operating systems).
  • Specific knowledge in digital interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, ARINC429, MIL-STD-1553, RS, AFDX).
  • Specific knowledge in Drivers and BSP development (Intel, PowerPC, ARM).

Valuable:

  • Experience working with testing infrastructures in a Continuous Integration environment.
  • Experience with aeronautical projects and DO178.
  • Specific knowledge in programming languages (Java, PHP, Python, R).
  • Master Degree.
